Education Equal Opportunity Group, Inc. (EEOG) Partners with PNC Bank to Empower Youth Through Career Speed Networking Program (CSNP)

Nashville, TN—The Education Equal Opportunity Group (EEOG) is thrilled to announce a new partnership with PNC Bank. This collaboration will advance our mission of helping underserved youth through education and career development. Thanks to a generous $10,000 grant from PNC Bank, EEOG will expand its Career Speed Networking Program (CSNP) to college campuses in Tennessee and Alabama.
This $10,000 grant will help today’s students become tomorrow’s leaders, empowering underserved students, creating opportunities for individual success, and fostering more substantial, equitable communities. By partnering with the PNC Bank Foundation, we aim to bolster the CSNP for public high school and charter school students, providing comprehensive career readiness training and paid shadowing opportunities. The CSNP connects high school students with industry leaders, offering invaluable mentorship and exposure to many career possibilities. Through leadership development, professional networking, and confidence-building, the program equips students with the tools to excel in their educational and professional pursuits.
“We are profoundly grateful for the unwavering support and visionary leadership of Tracee D. Smith, Vice President, Community and Economic Development Manager for Georgia and Tennessee at PNC Bank,” said EEOG President and CEO George Thomas. “This partnership highlights PNC Bank’s steadfast dedication to economic development and education, perfectly aligning with EEOG’s mission to unlock the extraordinary potential in young individuals.” With this crucial funding, the CSNP will enhance its offerings, allowing 9th to 12th-grade students to engage with professionals across various industries and experience immersive learning on college campuses. This collaboration promises to make a significant and lasting impact on students and their communities by bridging the gap between education and opportunity.
“You Can Be What You Can Not See”, Our mantra drives EEOG’s relentless commitment to ensuring that every student has access to pathways for success. Together with PNC Bank, EEOG is reshaping the narrative for underserved youth, championing one success story at a time. Join Us and Make a Difference! We invite other leaders to volunteer and support EEOG’s CSNP to inspire and encourage today’s students to become tomorrow’s leaders. Let’s make waves and create a brighter future together!
