Over the past 10 years, a total of 210 presenters, 150 volunteers, 5,500 students, 350 exhibitors and 180 workshops helped contribute to the success of the Annual Project Save-A-Student Leadership and Training Conference since its inaugural conference in 2002.
The primary objective is to provide students with alternative learning opportunities that are not presented in the traditional school curriculum. Further, the program empowers, engages, and encourages students to rise above the challenges of life by motivating them to strive for success. This is accomplished through live presentation workshops conducted by top business leaders, entrepreneurs and political power-brokers that students can emulate. The conference is a three-day retreat to provide students with confidence, practical knowledge and self-development tools that will help them succeed academically and in life. In addition to workshops, the conference provides a job fair, plenary sessions, and networking opportunities for students and sponsoring organizations.
